Based in London and renown for his intimate portrayals of the city, Simon Wheatley has been described as one of the most influential British photographers of the twenty-first century. His first book 'Don't Call Me Urban! The Time of Grime' was used as the visual basis for the first edition of Top Boy, the popular TV series soon after its 2010 release and has become the template for UK street fashion photography with its recent reissue.
